Andrew Barr is an exercise physiologist, personal trainer, and college professor based in Ottawa.
Andrew graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and from York University with a Master of Fitness Science. He is certified as a Strength and Conditioning Coach and Exercise Physiologist.
Andrew has worked in cardiac rehabilitation, was formerly the Head Lifestyle Coach at an Integrative Medicine Clinic and often works with seniors in his private practice. He helps older adults maintain functional independence and to manage or prevent lifestyle-related chronic disease. He strives to help all of his clients discover their true strength potential.
Andrew has worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for University and College Basketball teams, as well as with Canada Basketball athletes. He uses strength training to support athletes’ development and to help them stay injury-free.
Andrew works with clients at Titan Performance, a state of the art training facility located right by the Montreal Road exit off the Queensway. He is also a professor in the Fitness and Health Promotion department at Algonquin College and works with clients all over the world as an online coach.
